2024 Cricut Christmas Gift Guide // 10 Best Cricut Gifts of the Season
If you’re a big Cricut fan, then you’re probably have a few Cricut items on your Christmas list this year. We’ve compiled a list of ten Cricut items that might be a great addition to your craft room this Christmas. These ten items are some of our favorite here at Craft-e-Corner and you’re sure to love them too!
1. Cricut Machine
- Cricut Maker 3 Machines:
The top Maker 3 bundle of the season has to be the Rainbow Vinyl Bundle. This bundle is great for those who want the best machine and who enjoy vinyl projects (think decals, signs, etc). This bundle gives you a little bit of all of the colors and the Smart materials work without a mat for faster cutting! Shop the Maker 3 Rainbow Bundle here.
- Cricut Explore 3 Machines:
If you are looking for a bigger machine, but with less bells and whistles than the Maker 3, then the Cricut Explore 3 is the machine for you! The Explore 3 works with 100+ materials (including iron-on and vinyl), creates stickers with print-then-cut, but doesn't have the ability to cut specialty materials like wood or engraving metal. Our top pick for the Cricut Explore 3 machine, would be our Explore 3 Ultimate Bundle! This bundle is packed full of materials that is perfect for those looking to experiment with a little bit of everything! Sample a variety of materials like iron-on, vinyl, cards and infusible ink. Shop the Cricut Explore 3 Ultimate bundle here.
- Cricut Joy Xtra Machines:
The newest member of the Cricut family, this machine is perfect for those who don't need all of the extras that come with the bigger machines (think cutting wood, engraving, large paper crafts). The Joy Xtra is smaller in size, making it easier to store. Our recommended bundle for the Joy Xtra has got to be the Sticker Making Bundle. This bundle is perfect for the crafter who is looking to make customized stickers and smaller decals. Shop the Cricut Joy Xtra Sticker Making Bundle here.
- Cricut Joy Machines:
Last but not least, we have the Cricut Joy Machine. This machine is perfect for those who are starting to dabble into the Cricut world and want to create cards, labels and small decls. The Joy Machine does not have the ability to create printed stickers like the other machines, but still captures a lot of the same project abilities on a smaller scale. Our top gift pick for the Cricut Joy is our Ultimate Card Making Bundle. This bundle offers a variety of materials from vinyl to cards giving you a variety of project options. Shop the Cricut Joy Ultimate Card Bundle here.
2. EasyPress Machine
Iron-on vinyl {also known as heat transfer vinyl} projects are some of the most popular projects that Cricut crafters make. If you make a lot of iron-on projects and want to make your life 100x easier than using a regular household iron, then an EasyPress should be on your list this year! They’re incredible machines for a few different reasons. First, you can manually adjust the time and temperature. This is a game changer because the guess work is taken out of the heat transfer! You can get flawless transfers each and every time. Cricut also has a heat guide website where you can choose your materials— and this will really help you to get flawless transfers! The EasyPress machines come in four different sizes: the Mini, 9x9” and 12x10”. If you’re really into heat transfer projects, I’d recommend getting the mini press and another size! The top gift pick for the EasyPress machines, is the EasyPress 9x9 with Variety Iron-on Cut Pack. The 9x9 is the perfect size for most iron-on projects and the variety pack of iron-on sheets gives you a wide range of color options! Shop the EasyPress 9x9 Variety Iron-on Sheets Bundle here.
3. Cricut Variety Material Bundles
Gifting season is the perfect time to give the crafter in your life materials that they may want to try but are nervous to buy on their own! Take this bundle for instance: it has vinyl, iron-on, Smart sticker cardstock, transfer tape and tools! Any crafter on your list is sure to love this variety bundle! Shop the Variety Materials Bundle here.
4. Cricut BrightPad Go
This is one of those items that you don't really think about, but BOY does it make your life easier. If you do a lot of weeding or sketching, then you’ll definitely want to invest in a BrightPad. Have you ever tried to weed glitter vinyl or heat transfer vinyl and have had the hardest time finding where to weed?! Yeah, me too. Now all you have to do is place your material on top of the BrightPad and the light will show through the cuts to help you easily see where to weed! It’s perfect. Check out this bundle with the BrightPad Go, Vinyl Sheets and a Weeding Tool. Shop the BrightPad Go Bundle here.
5. Cricut Vinyl Bundles
Vinyl is one of the most popular materials to work with when it comes to Cricut users, so you can't go wrong with getting the crafter in your life some more! A basic black and white bundle is always super helpful. BUT, you can't go wrong with a rainbow style bundle either which offers them a variety of colors! I would recommend one of our Smart Vinyl bundles, so they can use the materials without a mat!
6. Cricut Pens
I’m honestly a huge fan of Cricut’s pens and markers. I love crafting with them but I also just use them ALL the time at work. I love all the vibrant colors that they offer— and we have tons for sale on our website. If you love working with pens, I’d recommend two different options for pens/markers. If you’re looking for a variety and have a machine from the Maker or Explore family, you may be interested in this Mega Pen Set Bundle. It’s also another best seller here at Craft-e-Corner. It comes with 35 different pens/markers with varying colors and tip sizes. If you have a Joy Xtra or Joy machine I would recommended this Variety Pack Bundle which has multiple colors and styles made for the Joy family. Cricut pens are perfect for the holiday season as you can use them for labeling your decor, creating handmade cards, customized gift tags and more!
7. Cricut Maker Blades
If you are gifting for a Cricut Maker/ Maker 3 crafter, then additional blades is a GREAT gift. The Maker machine family allows you to cut 300+ materials and to accomplish that you will need to switch out your blades with their nifty quickswap feature. You can’t go wrong with stocking up on blades. You know that you’ll eventually need to purchase new ones to replace yours when they dull, so might as well ask for them for Christmas! I’d recommend stocking up on your most commonly used blades— or maybe the ones you have been really wanting to try. If you have the Maker, there are quite a few more blade options— and you may want to ask for them if you’ve been wanting to try them out! I would recommend this Blade and Organizer Bundle as it comes with three different blades AND a blade holder to keep them organized! You can read more about the Maker Blades with this blog to help you narrow down which is best for you! I definitely don’t think you can go wrong with blades for Christmas!
8. Cricut Sticker Sets
Cricut came out with waterproof sticker sets recently and I am OBSESSED. I love being able to design my own stickers and customize my laptop/ phone case, my Stanley, notebooks and more. If you (or the crafter you are buying for) has a Cricut Maker 3, Explore 3 or Joy Xtra machine; then sticker sets are a fun gift to let their imagination take flight! I have some teacher friends who make their own stickers for classroom rewards, which is so cute! I love both the Holographic Sticker Sets (has a shiny laminate sheet that makes them waterproof) and the Regular Sticker Sets (clear laminate sheet).
9. Heat Transfer Materials - Iron-on and Infusible Ink:
I feel like this list wouldn't be complete without adding heat transfer materials (HTV) to this list! When you think of Cricut crafting you probably think of vinyl and making customized clothes with iron-on vinyl, so you can't go wrong gifting this material. Iron-on vinyl is a staple, but Infusible Ink is a fun twist as this material becomes one (infuses) with whatever item you are adding it to when you add heat. Shop iron-on vinyl and infusible ink here.
*Note that infusible ink only works with certain blanks, check out more about it here.
10. Cricut Cutting Mats
Last, but not least, you can never go wrong with asking for mats for Christmas! I think this time of the year is the best to stock-up because you can catch them on sale and you’ll ALWAYS need more mats, so now is a good time to get them. Think about which ones you use the most and stock up on those! For me, I go through the LightGrip cutting mat super quick because I use it all the time with print-then-cut and stickers! You can't go wrong with a regular StandardGrip Mat though! Make sure you grab a mat that matches your machine! Maker and Explore use the same mat size, but the Joy and Joy Xtra each have their own! My suggestion for a Cricut Joy Mat bundle would be this bundle that comes with a regular mat, card mat, replacement blade AND transfer tape! For the Joy Xtra, I would recommend this mat bundle which is great for cutting vinyl, iron-on, and stickers! My choice for the Maker and Explore family has to be this bundle with two StandardGrip Mats, vinyl sampler sheets and a tool kit!
And there ya have it! Ten (and then some) Cricut gifts ideas for Christmas this year. What Cricut items do you have on your Christmas list this year?
