Directions:
Create your cut design in Cricut Design Space or go directly to this project. I'm using basic lines and shapes as well as the following designs included with Cricut Access:
- BFC Banana Pumpkin (Font)
- Number 60 #M5C2F3
- Sun Silhouette #M2AAB3E57
Rosette Banner
Cut the long, scored rectangles from regular black cardstock. Cut the sun shape and lettering from glitter cardstock. Each rosette requires 2 fan folded shapes plus one sun shape.
Accordian fold each long rectangle along the score lines. Use hot glue to adhere one accordion folded rectangle in a fan shape to the back of the sun shape. Adhere a second accordion folded rectangle opposite the first. Hot glue a letter to the front of the sun shape using hot glue.
Punch a couple of holes along the sides of each rosette and thread them on a string, ribbon, or cord for hanging.
New to crafting paper rosettes? Learn how to make them with step-by-step photos in our posts on Valentines Paper Rosette Banner and Fabulous Fall Paper Rosettes. Each of these projects uses a slightly different technique to glue the rosettes. Let us know in the comments what works best for you!
Milestone Confetti
Cut "Number 60" from your choice of foil or paper. Follow along with Beth from our design team to craft your own milestone confetti.
Celebration Napkins
Cut "Cheers to 60" from your choice of Cricut Iron-on. Place the heat transfer vinyl shiny-side-down on your cutting mat, taking care to mirror the design before cutting. Weed the design to remove the excess heat transfer vinyl.
Use your EasyPress machine to apply the iron-on to one corner of your napkin, pressing for about 30 seconds at 325 degrees with light pressure. Get a look at this process in action in the short video below.
With a little creativity and these DIY party supplies, you can throw an unforgettable adult bash that's both stylish and budget-friendly. So grab your Cricut and other crafting tools and get ready to impress your guests with your personal touch. They'll be raving about your decorations and wondering where you found such unique ideas! Happy making!
