Hey friends! With Random Acts of Kindness Week coming up (February 14-20, 2025), it’s the perfect time to spread a little love and joy. What better way to celebrate than by making some adorable treat boxes using your Cricut machine? Whether you're filling them with sweet treats or small surprises, these DIY boxes are a fun and personal way to brighten someone's day. Let's get crafty and spread some kindness!

Materials:

Directions:

Head straight to this project in Cricut Design Space.

Grab some scrapbook paper and use your Cricut machine to cut out a rectangle sized about 6.5x3.5 inches. You’ll need one rectangle for each treat box you want to make, so depending on how many you’re planning to create, cut as many as you need.

Next, take some craft glue and apply it along one of the short edges of the rectangle. Then, carefully roll the paper to bring the two short edges together, sticking them in place.  Hold it for a few seconds to make sure it’s secure!

Now, apply a bit of craft glue along one of the open ends of your rolled paper cylinder. Then, pinch the opening together, sealing it shut to form the bottom of a small bag or box.

Fill your treat box with some yummy treats or little gifts to surprise your recipients. You can get creative with what you include - anything that will brighten someone’s day!

To finish off your treat box, pinch the top of the bag in the opposite direction of the closed end, creating a sort of triangle shape. Apply some craft glue to hold it in place, and voilà! You’ve got a cute triangular treat box ready to go!

For a fun little extra, grab some scalloped or pinking shears and trim the glued edges.

Now for a fun finishing touch - use the Print Then Cut feature on your Cricut machine to design some "Spread Kindness" stickers. I'm using cut design #M3DA389C5 (included with Cricut Access.) sized to about 1.5x0.75 inches. Print your design onto Cricut’s transparent sticker paper using your home printer and then let your Cricut cut them out perfectly!

Apply the sticker to the flat side of the treat box.
