Print the faces on ordinary copy paper and cut them out using scissors. Or bring them into Cricut Design Space if you'd like to cut them from Cricut Printable Sticker Paper using the Print Then Cut feature in Cricut Design Space.

Prepare Vinyl
Cut a few pieces of watercolor paper or other heavy paper the approximate size of the angel's wings, halo, collar, and hands. Cut a piece of holographic or glitter vinyl to cover the heavy paper. Make the project, cutting the wings, halo, collar and hands from the vinyl-covered paper and the face frame and trim from from holographic or glitter vinyl.
Prepare Wood Base
Embellish the paint stick using scrap paper, scrap vinyl, washi tape - whatever you have handy! This is the perfect project to use all those little bits you've been saving! Cut the materials into strips of various sizes and adhere them to the paint stick using decoupage glue or gel medium.
If you're new to decoupage, here are a few tips to get a good, bubble-free finish. Spread decoupage medium over the stick beneath the strip. Lay the paper strip on the wet glue and smooth it in place using your hand. Brush more glue on top of the strip. Use an old gift card or similar tool to press the strip firmly to the stick and remove excess medium. Or, as long as the medium is wet on top of the strip, you can use a damp finger to press the paper well to the stick.
Cover the stick completely and allow it to dry. Paint the edges and back of the paint stick using black craft paint and allow to dry.
Assemble the Ornament
Place the face frame over the printed face. Use a bit of decoupage glue to adhere the face and frame to the halo.
Glue the wings to the top of the wood paint stick using white craft glue.
Glue the halo, collar and hands on top of the wings using craft glue. You may need to place the wet pieces under a weight for a time to keep the heavy paper pieces in place while the glue dries.
Apply the wavy vinyl trim piece to the length of the angel's front and press well using your fingers to secure it in place.
Glue a jewelry bail to the back of the halo so you can attach a ribbon or string for hanging. Paint the back of the paper pieces black if desired.
