St. Patrick's Day Bottle Labels Using Cricut Printable Sticker Paper

Make your bottles stand out this St. Patrick’s Day by creating your own custom labels with the Cricut Printable Waterproof Sticker Set. These fun bottle wraps add a festive vibe to your drinks and creating your own labels lets you customize everything to fit your style. Here’s how to make your own St. Patrick’s Day bottle labels, step by step.

Materials:

Use Cricut's Printable Waterproof Sticker Set to create custom, full-color waterproof stickers. These are super durable and UV-resistant for up to 2 years - great for everything from tumblers to car bumpers to outdoor signs and more. The set includes a sheet of Printable Vinyl and Vinyl Laminate. Print your designs on the Printable Vinyl using your home inkjet printer, then add the Vinyl Laminate to protect your design. After that, use a Cricut cutting machine (Cricut Maker 3, Cricut Explore 3, or Cricut Joy Xtra) to precision-cut your stickers. For the best results, be sure to remove any printer paper from the tray and print one sheet of vinyl at a time.

Directions:

This project uses the Print Then Cut feature in Cricut Design Space. Our design team LOVES to make stickers of all kinds using this feature and we have loads of tutorials about how to use Print Then Cut. If you're new to this feature, you may want to check out this resource, Cricut Print then Cut Sticker Tutorial for Beginners.

Start by creating your own St. Patrick's Day bottle wrap design in Cricut Design Space or go directly to this project. I'm using the following designs included with Cricut Access:

  • #M21E98FC5 - Leprechaun Holding Beer
  • #M5058D39D - St. Patrick's Day Brewing Co.

Measure your bottles to figure out the appropriate label size. For reference, mine are approximately 8 x 3 inches.

Make the project, following the prompts in Cricut Design Space to print your design directly onto the printable vinyl sheet from the Printable Waterproof Sticker Set using your home inkjet printer.

Peel back about an inch of the backing from one end of the laminating sheet. Then, carefully line it up with your printed design and press it down to stick it in place. Once it’s lined up, peel off the rest of the backing and continue smoothing the laminating sheet over the rest of your printed design. To make sure it’s really stuck well, grab a Cricut Scraper Tool and gently run it over the surface to get a smooth, even finish.

Now, take your laminated printed sheet and cut it out using your Cricut Cutting Machine. Whether you’re using the Cricut Joy Xtra, Cricut Explore, or Cricut Maker, all of these machines work perfectly with the sticker paper sheets for precise cuts.

Once your stickers are cut, make sure the bottles you’re using are clean and dry. Then, simply peel the backing off the self-adhesive label and carefully stick it onto your bottle. Press it down firmly to ensure it stays in place and looks smooth!
