The Cricut Maker 3 and Smart Vinyl are perfect for personalizing beach towels because of its ability to cut matless. You can make much longer decals than the older machines. I made these personalized beach towels for my kids' teachers for an end of the year gift. I love how they turned out!

I like how I can really personalize anything for gifts with this machine! 

You could make this on an older machine or without Smart Iron-On but you would be limited to the 12x24 cutting mat for your size.
