DIY New Dog Mom Gift Basket with SVG Files

Whether you’re looking for creative ideas on what to give a new dog mom for an upcoming birthday, Valentine’s Day, Christmas or even Mother’s Day, here are some fun and inexpensive ideas for a personalized gift basket!

Starting with the mug, I created the "I'm Only Talking to My Dogs Today" SVG file to upload to Design Space. You can download yours here. From there, I customized the provided Mug Press Template. 

When you’re ready to cut your design, remember to place your Infusible Ink Transfer Sheet onto your Grip Mat with the ink side facing up. You will still want to mirror your design.

While I applied my design to my mug, I turned the Mug Press on to heat up. Once the Press was ready, I put the mug inside and waited for the cue to take the mug out.

Next up, is the candle. Any candle will work, I just happened to have an extra candle I purchased from Target. Luckily, the label was easy to peel off. 

I uploaded my design into Design Space and used removable vinyl. You can download your "Dog Fart Defense" candle label here.

I had an abundance of removable vinyl to use, so I used my vinyl sheets as a stencil for screen printing designs onto T-Shirts. 

Applying the entire 12x12 removable vinyl sheet onto the T-Shirt, I placed my screen on top and covered with screen printing paint. 

Remove the screen and let your paint dry with the vinyl still attached to your shirt. 

Once dry, the results are seamless with your shirt! Download your Dog Mom SVG file and your Wine Dogs & Weekends SVG file.

All that is left is to grab a few puppy friendly toys and treats, and your gift basket is ready to surprise the dog mom in your life!
