Even though it's February and we still have a ways to go for winter, my mind is thinking spring. So while the weather outside may not say spring, I'm going to slowly bring it into my house! My boss, Carrie, picked this wicker tray up at a garage sale and I've been wondering what to do with it for awhile now. At first, I thought I wanted to apply some words on it— but then when I came across the dandelion image in Cricut Access, I immediately knew what to do!

This project is a great one for beginners— I'm just applying vinyl to the tray using transfer tape! Quick tip though: make sure your surface is even and smooth! The surface of this tray is wood and the grain is raised a bit, so it made applying the vinyl a little harder. But definitely go check out the video and see how I made it work.

What kinds of ways can you use vinyl in your home? Would love to hear what kinds of projects you're wanting to make this spring. Happy making, friends!
