Cricut Maker 3 Unboxing
I was so excited to get my hands on the NEW Maker 3. Previously, I had an Explore Air 2. I had been very happy with it. At times I was sad that I couldn’t do fabric or thicker material like wood but for the most part it did what I needed it to do. But then I got the Maker 3. I just love this thing!
I wanted to share with you what all comes in the box. This is what it looks like as it is sent by the manufacturer. If you order a bundle from Craft-e-Corner the bundle items would be separate and outside of the Cricut box.
Let’s get started!
Right when you open the box there is a white envelope.
Inside this envelope is the Let’s Get Started card and the warranty information card. The Let’s Get Started card will give you the website to access to activate your machine. The warranty information card gives you all the details that are included with the warranty.
This envelope also includes a sample sheet of Smart vinyl. Mine was black but colors may vary. This picture is showing you the back of the Smart Vinyl.
Next, I took out the top packing pieces and there is was. Such a beautiful machine! It is wrapped in a shrink wrap cellophane.
Underneath the machine is where the power cord is located along with the USB cord.
After taking out the bottom packing material, I found a plastic sleeve of some sample material.
This included a sheet of holographic Smart Iron-On Vinyl, a sheet of Smart Removable Vinyl, a sheet of Transfer Paper, and a sheet of Smart Sticker Paper.
I opened up the machine and saw the foam protection around the carriage.
The Fine-Point blade is already installed in the machine in Clamp B.
On the back of the machine is where you will find the plug-ins for both the power cord and the USB cord.
It is such an awesome compliment to my other machines. I am very excited to get to know this machine and start using it!

The power supply is switchable and can accept 220VAC or 110VAC. You just need a plug adapter, but won’t need a transformer.
Does the power adapter of the cricut maker 3, work with both 110/220 volts?
