I love to get crafty on the weekends, but sometimes have so many other things to fit in, I push making a craft to the very end of my list. If that’s that case for you, here are 5 ideas that you can fit into your weekend to stay inspired through the business and chaos and find your “me” time.

Your answer decoded:
Learn a New Task- whether you you have 5, 10, or 15 minutes- look up a craft video you have been wanting to try and learn something new. There’s not a better way to stay inspired than to learn something you’ve never tried before! I had really been wanting to learn how to make pom poms with yarn a few weeks ago, so I watched a quick tutorial and then wrote up a post here! These are really easy and fast and can be catered to any season, holiday or celebration.
Organize your craft space- Well that doesn’t sound very fun…you may be saying, but there are definite benefits to keeping your space organized. You will be able to locate your supplies, have more space and even save money. I also know for me personally, after I decide to clean up my craft space, I get my ideas flowing because I am looking through all of my supplies, so get ready for your ideas to start flowing!
Re-purpose or Re-use an existing project in a new way- I love this idea because you don’t have to buy anything if you don’t want to. I have a wreath that I love to use for multiple seasons, and all that I do is to change out the accessories on it. In the fall it has leaf and acorn embellishments. In spring, it is adorned with pretty spring flowers, and in summer it changes to bright pink and orange flowers. One wreath-3 seasons!
Knit an arm scarf-Have you tried this? I did this for the first time at Christmas. I hadn’t ever done it before, but I watched a video. I had to watch it a couple times to get the hang of it, but once I got it, I made three of them on the car trip to my in-laws. I had three gifts-one for my sister, one for my mother-in-law and one for my sister-in-law.
Do a String Art-So I have not tried this yet, but there are tons of ideas on Pinterest to make with some nails, some twine and a piece of wood. I love the ones that have your home state with the heart in them!
Make a Spring Wreath- I love making wreaths, and I really have been wanting to make a square wreath using twigs and sticks around the edges. I like the idea of this because you can use natural materials to create something beautiful.
